The Story
In the 17th century, a Sufi saint named Baba Budan returned from a pilgrimage to Mecca carrying something forbidden — seven raw coffee beans, concealed on his person, smuggled out of Yemen against all prohibition. He brought them back to the hills of Chikmagalur and planted them. That quiet act of defiance seeded India's entire coffee culture.
Some things are too good to keep in one place. Baba Budan knew it. So does SMGLR.
